Mijn naam is Samuel Baidoo, ik ben theatermaker, danser, mentor en sinds kort ook game designer. Ik wisselen dansen voor andere choreografen af met mentoring en het ontwikkelen van mijn artistiek werk, zowel met het collectief Hanafubuki als op mezelf. Ik ben slecht in vroeg opstaan en hou van saaie dagen thuis te spenderen. Momenteel leer ik mezelf met een naaimachine werken en speel ik Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Mijn werk varieert naargelang waar mijn interesse op dat moment ligt. In het verleden maakte ik al een voorstelling in een mini-theater voor max 35 personen maar ook een reportage-achtige podcastvoorstelling of een dansduet. Momenteel werk ik aan videogame.
Tijdens Winternights geef ik het publiek een inkijk in het maakproces van Plum Road Tea Dream, de autiobiografische videogame waar ik nu aan werk. Ik noem dit format de Look Behind The Scene's. In de Look Behind The Scene's deel ik waar we op dat specifiek moment in het maakproces zijn Dit neemt telkens andere formats aan: van een expo tot een game sessie tot een talk waarin ik teksten uittest op het publiek of laat voorlezen door het publiek.

My name is Samuel Baidoo, I am a theatre maker, dancer, mentor and recently also a game designer. I alternate dancing for other choreographers with mentoring and developing my artistic work, both with the collective Hanafubuki and on my own. I am bad at getting up early and I like to spend boring days at home. At the moment I am teaching myself to work with a sewing machine and I am playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
My work evolves with my interests. In the past I have made a performance in a mini-theatre for max 35 people but also a reportage-like podcast performance or a dance duet. At the moment I am working on a video game.
During Winternights I give the audience a glimpse into the making process of Plum Road Tea Dream, the autobiographical video game I am currently working on. I call this format the Look Behind The Scene's. In the Look Behind The Scene's I share where we are at that specific moment in the making process. This takes on different formats each time: from an expo to a game session to a talk in which I test texts on the audience or have them read aloud.
